This high definition video, shot in late 2010, provides a contemporary look at Tiananmen Square, the massive city square located in the heart of Beijing.  Colourful gardens, fountains, hi-tech video screens, relaxing music and important national symbols all help to make Tiananmen a pleasant place to visit.  One can almost forget about the massacre of Chinese students that took place here in the summer of 1989.

Important buildings and structures appearing in this video include  Zhengyangmen Gate, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the Great Hall of the People, Gate of Heavenly Peace and the National Museum of China.
